Break Time
Open Letter:
To all of the followers of Macs In Life;
After doing 81 episodes, almost 2 years worth of shows, Chuck and I have decided to put the show on hiatus. It is not that we have given up on the show, but we need some time to recharge the batteries. Many don’t understand what goes into making the show, so I thought I would give you a quick overview.
Monday – Start looking for content for the bonus content show.
Tuesday – Pre-production meeting for bonus content show.
Wednesday – Record, edit and post bonus content show.
Thursday – Look for stories that may be relevant for this weeks show
Friday – Pre-production meeting for the normal show.
Saturday – Set up, shoot and edit the show
Sunday – Post the show
Monday – Start all over again.
For almost 2 years. We are slightly fried.
Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE doing the show and helping people. However both of us have “real” jobs, and I am involved in two other non-technical shows, so I am really burning the candle at both ends.
If you think about it, TV shows usually shoot 25 episodes a season(year) so we have done more that three seasons in less than 2 years.
Be safe, we hope to be back soon.
Ward
